Dear All,

Please find attached a note (PicturingObjects), which motivates the definition of map f given as pf = fp. Lest we think why so much fuss about a simple equation, I attached a note (CommutativeDiagram), which illustrates the notion of ‘map preserves structure’ underlying the equation pf = fp (Conceptual Mathematics, pp. 136 – 7).
