Factoring Functions through Singleton Set

June 12, 2012

Dear All,

Please find attached a note (Factoring Functions Through Singleton) in which we look at the problem of factoring maps through terminal object in the category of sets.  In the next one let us look at figures of various shapes (here there may be room for romantic plots), singular figures, and totally singular figures of some shapes (Session 22, Conceptual Mathematics).

Happy Study!

Thank you,

P.S. Just in case you are wondering ‘why no arrows?’  Formatting figures is flying me cuckoo.  See also Prof. Wells’ email below (Visual Scenes and Verbal Descriptions).
